Were not everyones cup of tea, thats for sure, so why on earth would twenty-eight companies have chosen to work with Sell! Sell! in the last four and a half years? Even allowing for a lot to have called the wrong number and hired us by mistake, that still leaves quite a few that must, for some unknown reason, have thought Yes, that tiny barnacle on the side of the ad industry, well hire them. The truth is, were probably not right for most clients. We dont have legions of account managers, or do massive powerpoint presentations, we dont have a unique clever-sounding process, or use the latest buzzwords. But we have found that were increasingly approached by clients who tell us that they feel under increased pressure to deliver growth or maintain share, and they are concerned that their advertising needs some fresh, energetic thinking to help them do it. Others tell us that their current advertising isnt resulting in the uplift in sales that they were expecting, and are under pressure to hit KPIs. Some tell us that their account doesnt feel like a priority for their agency anymore, or that theyre not getting enough access to the top talent in their agency, and some are worried that their creative work is beginning to feel a little stale. Some are looking for experienced, senior people working directly on their business (not just turning up at pitches for smiles and handshakes).
